ADVENTURES OF SCUBA DIVING

There are so many beautiful and wonderful things under the sea that you have probably seen in photos or maybe in an aquarium. In fact, unique, never before seen creatures are still believed to be found in the so-called Black Hole of the Caribbean Sea and in the waters off Palau. There is so much about the sea that to this day still remains unknown.

HAVE YOU EVER DREAMT OF BEING THE CAPTAIN OF A PIRATE SHIP?

Take a dive to the ocean floor and newly discover an ancient shipwreck. We have all heard stories of buried or sunken treasures. Little can be more exciting than discovering ancient riches within a lost ship from a forgotten era.

SHELL COLLECTING

Diving is the best way of collecting shells. There are 112,000 species of shell bearing animals found around the world, varying greatly in size and color. The Tridacna is a huge clam found in the tropics that can reach a meter in length across its shell. Needless to say, it is very heavy. Quite recently, a very rare and precious shell was found by a diver in the waters of the South Pacific worth several thousands of dollars.

UNDERWATER ORIENTEERING (U.W.O.)

Underwater orienteering helps a recreational diver to adopt to underwater conditions. Learning underwater orientation helps a diver to get used to the foreign environment. Speed, accuracy and sense of direction are altered, due to the physical properties found underwater. Underwater orienteering is considered the best way to improve one's fundamental diving techniques while having fun at the same time.

Other organizations may refer to Underwater Orienteering as Underwater Navigation or U.W.O.
